TEA Travel Club
joint venture with The Eco Enabler Alliance (TEA)

SHARED TRANSPORT

This venture is based around enabling travel to be more sustainable for households who  are prepared to share transport to help them get around neighbourhoods and local areas, or have lower cost (yet still stylish!) means to get away further where there is less likely to be Net Zero infrastructure available but still be low on carbon emissions.

HYBRID AND FULLY ELECTRIC VEHICLES

TEA's approach involves partnership with Dukeflow to make hybrid and electric vehicles available to share on a neighbourhood and community basis, engaging with recognised volume and luxury brands of vehicles according to the means and infrastructure of the neighbourhood and its surrounding community.

REDUCE NUMBER OF CARS ON THE ROAD

This is tied in with awareness of the multi-Council strategy in the UK to reduce the number of cars by 2026, as well as make any used by then to be ones which are Net Zero (and hence ULEZ-compliant) with ideally no need for petrol or fossil fuels for driving into major cities such as London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle - or minimally elsewhere on the outskirts of these cities.

TRIAL AREAS

We will be trialing use of the first vehicle between outer Boroughs of London, as well as from Kent, Essex and Hertfordshire around to Middlesex, Buckinghamshire and Surrey, using this to collect feedback from interested parties as well as data on running the vehicle along with better understanding operating costs and performance
